Hello, I’m Samella Porter (Mother Dear)
I am one of the many daughter’s of Bedford & Eva Wray, really hope you enjoy our passage in time. I feel so blessed, honored, and privileged to be able through God’s magnificent Grace to share my contribution to those that would like to hear. God’s Grace, Mercy, and Favor has allowed me to see a blessed 96 years, as I continue to walk with him and allow him to order my steps.
Moment In Time
There are so many wonderful moments in time as it relates to my life. Not to excuse or omit the unfortunate times that comes with this life. I would not thinking of trading my life with anyone else. The experiences, stories, and family memories that are with me to this day have brought me to this moment in time.
Blessed
I am so Blessed to have been chosen by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be a part of this family (Wray’s) and his family (Heavenly Kingdom). I do not count myself worthy of anything I have said, done, or learned. Only through his Amazing Grace am I still here to share what I can, in hopes it would be encouragement, enlightenment, and spiritually uplifting as we all move forward to our final destination prayerfully in Jesus Christ.
Celebrating 100 Years with Samella Porter
My husband severed in the US Army World War II and was awarded various awards. He would describe the many task he was assigned some very dangerous. One in particular he was given orders to accomplish which he did not have the rank to complete earned him the Purple Heart. I was hopeful one day to receive these awards on his behalf. Very appreciative for my son Anthony who spent time researching his military records and acquired his DD214 & Awards.
Thankful to God for his Christian & Military service.
